10日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は５日続伸した。前日比28円52銭（0.15％）高の１万9671円26銭で終え、８月20日（２万33円）以来、約２カ月半ぶりの高値を付けた。午後発表の10月の企業倒産件数、景気ウオッチャー調査（街角景気）が改善し、景況感が強気に傾いた。後場中ごろまでに上昇に転じ、取引終了までプラス圏で推移した。

　企業倒産件数は前年同月比7.3％減少し、10月としては1990年以来25年ぶりに800件を割った。街角景気は景気実感を示す現状判断指数が３カ月ぶりに改善。景気が勢いを増しているとの見方につながった。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆3541億円。売買高は20億6925万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は701で全体の37％を占めた。値下がりは1090、変わらずは120だった。
