18日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は小幅に続伸し、前日比18円55銭（0.09％）高の１万9649円18銭で終えた。前日に欧州株が上昇したほか、米株式相場も底堅く推移し、投資家心理が改善。運用リスクを取る姿勢が広がり、大型株を中心に買いが入った。ただ、取引時間中として８月20日以来約３カ月ぶりの１万9800円台まで上昇し、利益確定売りも増えた。仏航空機の緊急着陸など、パリの同時多発テロを想起させるニュースが伝わると、投資家の買い意欲は一段と低下。取引終了にかけ、じりじりと上げ幅を縮小した。

　ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は小幅に続伸した。終値は前日比8.92ポイント（0.06％）高の１万4298.42だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も小幅に続伸し、0.42ポイント（0.03％）高の1586.53で終えた。

　東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆2523億円。売買高は19億3734万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は797、値下がりは980、変わらずは137だった。
