　海外勢を中心として年末休暇を取る市場参加者が多く、買いが続きにくかったとの指摘もある。あす25日は受け渡しベースの年内最終売買日にあたる。市場では「節税対策のために個人投資家が含み損を抱えた株を売る損失確定売りも出やすかった」（楽天証券経済研究所の土信田雅之シニアマーケットアナリスト）との声もあった。

　ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は反落した。終値は前営業日比78.84ポイント（0.57％）安の１万3741.44だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も反落し、9.98ポイント（0.65％）安の1523.62で終えた。

　東証１部の売買代金は概算で１兆9362億円と、22日に続いて２兆円の大台を割り込んだ。売買高は19億8707万株。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は全体の８割近い1523、値上がりは326、変わらずは86だった。
