外国為替市場で円相場が１ドル＝109円台前半の円高・ドル安に振れ、自動車や電機などに輸出採算の悪化を懸念した売りが広がった。前日の海外市場で銅、亜鉛、ニッケル相場が下げたため、非鉄の住友鉱や三井金も売られた。

商いは閑散だった。サミットの合意内容が明らかになるまでは積極的な売買を手控えたいと考える投資家が多く、積極的な売買は乏しかった。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続落した。終値は前日比116.06ポイント（0.96％）安の１万1974.59だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は続落し、12.18ポイント（0.91％）安の1326.50で終えた。

東証マザーズ指数は４営業日ぶりに反落した。終値は前日比13.69ポイント（1.22％）安い1105.54だった。
