９日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は続伸し、前日比114円40銭（0.69％）高の１万6764円97銭で終えた。外国為替市場で円相場が１ドル＝102円台前半まで下落し、企業業績の重荷となる円高への懸念が和らいだ。午後に株価指数への影響が大きい値がさ株のソフトバンクや信越化が買われ、日経平均は上げ幅を広げた。

金融・資本市場での不安要素だった長期金利の急上昇（債券価格の急落）を巡る懸念が和らいだのも株買いを誘った。９日の30年物国債の入札が波乱のない結果となり、同日の長期金利は低下した。

任天堂が再び大商いとなった。株価は８％近く一時上昇し、売買代金は2000億円を超え東証全体で首位だった。スマートフォン向けゲーム「ポケモンＧＯ」に関連した他の銘柄にも買いが及んだ。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は続伸した。終値は前日比106.15ポイント（0.90％）高の１万1858.66だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続伸し、11.96ポイント（0.92％）高の1317.49で終えた。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆2254億円。売買高は18億9247万株だった。東証１部の値上がり銘柄数は1246と全体の約63％を占めた。値下がりは581、変わらずは142銘柄だった。

2017年３月期の利益見通しを上方修正したブラザー、16年４～６月期が営業増益となった日清食ＨＤが大幅高となった。旭化成と三菱ケミＨＤは上昇し、小野薬と大塚ＨＤが上げた。原油高で資源開発大手の国際石開帝石と石油資源の上げも大きかった。一方、４～９月期の業績予想を上方修正したスクリンは「当面の材料が出尽くした」との受け止めから大幅安となった。Ｔ＆Ｄと第一生命は下落し、スズキとＪＡＬが下げた。

東証２部株価指数は続伸した。ローツェと朝日インテクが上げ、ヨネックスとランドコンピが下げた。

９日の新興企業向け株式市場で、日経ジャスダック平均株価は小幅に続伸した。終値は前日比６円46銭（0.26％）高い2458円31銭だった。好材料の出た中小型株を物色する動きはあったものの、市場参加者が少ないなかで売買は終日盛り上がりに欠けた。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で287億円、売買高は5078万株だった。極楽湯やマクドナルド、セリアが上昇した。カルナバイオやＤＡＣ、アイビーは下落した。主力銘柄で構成するＪＡＳＤＡＱ―ＴＯＰ20は小幅に続落した。

東証マザーズ指数は５営業日ぶりに反発した。終値は前日比11.16ポイント（1.26％）高い900.38だった。そーせいやサイバダイン、フリークアウなど時価総額の大きい銘柄が後場に上げ幅を広げた。ミクシィや中村超硬、アカツキは下げた。
