12日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は反発した。終値は前営業日比184円80銭（1.10％）高の１万6919円92銭と、６月１日以来およそ２カ月半ぶりの高値で終えた。欧米株など世界的な株高を受け、投資家心理が改善した。内外投資家のリスク選好ムードが強まり、幅広い銘柄に買いが入った。

外国為替市場で円相場が１ドル＝102円台前半までじりじりと円安・ドル高に振れ、企業の採算が悪化するとの懸念もやや後退した。主力企業の2016年４～６月期決算が想定ほど下振れせず、日本株の買い安心感を誘ったとの見方も出ていた。

もっとも、全般的に薄商いとなり、積極的に上値を追う動きは限られた。祝日と週末の谷間にあたり市場参加者が少なく、大きく持ち高を傾ける雰囲気が乏しかった。

17年３月期の業績見通しを引き上げた森永に買いが集まった。16年４～６月期決算が好調だったディーエヌエ－も高い。ファストリや東エレクが上昇し、日経平均を大きく押し上げた。トヨタやマツダも高い。半面、主力の液晶パネル製造装置の先行きに警戒感が広がったアルバックが安い。任天堂や三菱ＵＦＪ、三井住友ＦＧが売りに押された。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で293億円、売買高は7285万株だった。マクドナルドや平田機工、アストマクスが上昇した。半面、極楽湯やセリア、エンジャパンは下落した。主力銘柄で構成するＪＡＳＤＡＱ―ＴＯＰ20も小幅に続伸した。

東証マザーズ指数は３日続伸。終値は前営業日比27.36ポイント（3.00％）高い940.03だった。そーせいやモブキャス、ミクシィが上昇した。一方でサイバダインやイーガーディ、フリークアウは下落した。
