21日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は大幅に続落した。前日比398円93銭（2.43％）安の１万6017円26銭と安値で終えた。連日で昨年来安値を更新し、2014年10月30日以来、約１年３カ月ぶりの安値を付けた。超低金利が続く中、金融機関の収益環境の悪さが嫌気され、金融株中心に売りが広がって相場全体を押し下げた。後場は個人投資家の損失覚悟の売りが増え、全面安となった。

　日経平均は年初からの下げ幅が3000円を超えた。原油安や円高の一服を受け、前場は１万6600円台に上昇する場面があった。

　しかし、後場に入ると信用取引で追加証拠金（追い証）の差し入れを迫られた個人投資家が売りに回ったという。

　日銀の黒田東彦総裁は21日の参院決算委員会で量的・質的金融緩和について従来と同様の説明に終始し、追加の金融緩和への期待が薄らいだのも投資家心理に影を落としたという。

　ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400も続落した。終値は前日比332.50ポイント（2.76％）安の１万1732.82だった。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）も続落し、37.48ポイント（2.80％）安の1301.49で終えた。

　東証１部の売買代金は概算で３兆846億円と今年２番目の多さだった。売買高は31億8594万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は1860と全体の96％を占めた。値上がりは60、変わらずは15銘柄だった。
