　後場は乱高下した。日銀のマイナス金利導入報道を受け、後場寄り付きは再びプラス圏に急浮上。その後、日銀がマイナス金利導入を決定し、円安進行とともに、株価指数先物に大口買いが入り、午後零時４６分に１万７６３８円９３銭（前日比５９７円４８銭高）まで急上昇した。買い一巡後は、円下げ渋りもあって急速に下押し、午後１時２０分には１万６７６７円０９銭（同２７４円３６銭安）を付ける場面があった。マイナス金利の効果は限定的との見方も出ていた。その後は、買い直され、大きく持ち直した。

　東証１部の出来高は４１億２５０５万株、売買代金は４兆４３１７億円といずれも昨年８月２５日以来ほぼ５カ月ぶりの高水準。騰落銘柄数は値上がり１７２１銘柄、値下がり１８６銘柄、変わらず２８銘柄。
