25日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は小幅に続落し、前週末比６円96銭（0.04％）安の１万6620円29銭で終えた。１万6500円～１万7000円はこれまでの累積売買が多い価格帯で、上値追いの手掛かりが乏しい中、戻り待ちの売りに押された。外国為替市場で円相場が１ドル＝106円台前半に下げ渋ったのも、市場心理に水を差した。

主要企業の決算発表や日米の金融政策を巡る会合など重要イベントを控え、持ち高を一方向に傾けにくいとの声も聞かれた。前週末の米株式相場の上昇を引き継ぎ、朝方の日経平均は上げ幅を150円超まで拡大したが積極的な買いは続かなかった。後場に入ると下げに転じ、その後は前週末終値を挟んだ方向感に乏しい推移となった。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は小反発し、前週末比6.57ポイント（0.06％）高の１万1921.16で引けた。東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は小幅続落し、終値は前週末比2.15ポイント（0.16％）安の1325.36だった。

東証１部の売買代金は概算で２兆314億円。売買高は16億8540万株だった。東証１部の値下がり銘柄数は697、値上がり銘柄数は1166、変わらずは105銘柄だった。

東証マザーズ指数は小反発した。終値は前週末比４.43ポイント（0.48％）高い930.23だった。時価総額の大きいそーせいやミクシィのほか、モバファクの値上がりが目立った。Ｈａｍｅｅやアップバンク、フリービットが下げた。
