22日の東京株式市場で日経平均株価は反落し、前日比182円97銭（1.09％）安の１万6627円25銭で終えた。円相場が１ドル＝105円台に上昇し、輸出企業の採算改善期待がいったん後退した。前日の米株式相場の下落も投資家心理に水を差し、幅広い銘柄に利益確定目的の売りが出た。後場は下げ幅を240円強まで拡大する場面があった。

日銀の黒田東彦総裁が21日夕、英国放送協会（ＢＢＣ）のラジオ番組で日銀が財政資金を直接手当てする「ヘリコプターマネー」に否定的に見方を示した。これを受けて円高が進行し、自動車など輸出関連株への売りを促した。週末とあって、午後は持ち高調整を目的とした売りも出やすかった。

半面、一部の投資家の間では政府や日銀の政策対応への期待が根強いといい、下値では買いが入った。

ＪＰＸ日経インデックス400は９営業日ぶりに反落し、終値は前日比118.57ポイント（0.99％）安の１万1914.59、東証株価指数（ＴＯＰＩＸ）は反落し、終値は同11.88ポイント（0.89％）安の1327.51だった。

ジャスダック市場の売買代金は概算で791億円、売買高は8501万株だった。ユニバーサルやアビックス、セプテニＨＤが下落した。半面、マクドナルドやテックファム、セリアは上昇した。主力銘柄で構成するＪＡＳＤＡＱ―ＴＯＰ20は３日続落した。

東証マザーズ指数は反落した。終値は前日比9.67ポイント（1.03％）安い925.80だった。そーせいやミクシィ、サイバダインが下落した。一方、Ｈａｍｅｅやアップバンク、フリービットが上昇した。
